The Porsche 996 model was produced from 1997-2005. This new model had some significant changes made from its predecessor 993. With a whole new interior design this provided passengers with a more roomy feel. The 996 got a new engine make over using a water-cooled system. This was the first of many models to have this change. They also gave it a sleeker body style with a raked windshield. You could purchase this model in a coupe or convertible. This 1/18th scale kit from Gateway Globle Ltd. is the Porsche 996 convertible version. What makes this model great it the fact that its been pre-painted red. It also features a die-cast body with some other plastic parts. Complete instructions are included so you can complete your model for display. We recommend keeping this kit away from children 8 years and under, it contains some small parts and sharp points. GLUE IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS KIT.
